Celonis user conference "Celosphere 2023" in a huge aircraft hangar

PRG was once again the 360° technical service provider for this year's Celonis User Conference. The location: a huge aircraft hangar at Munich Airport. The entire event technology, exhibition stand construction, seating and grandstands for the participants were installed and configured in the completely empty hangar.
The conference consisted of:

PRG supplied the rigging, lighting, audio, video and broadcast technology for all areas, as well as the lighting design concept and the corresponding consulting services throughout the entire conference planning process.

In order to illuminate the entire area, over 4,000 metres of truss were installed at over 600 suspension points with motors so that the more than 2,000 fixtures could be mounted and aligned accordingly. The background of the keynote stage consisted of a 200 square metre high-resolution LED wall on which the participants could follow the presentation content in razor-sharp detail. There were tunnels between the exhibition and keynote stage areas, which gave participants access to both areas. The effective Asteramatrix tubes on the walls helped participants to orientate themselves using animated arrows.

The aircraft hangar as a location with its height of 35 metres together with the PRG lighting design created a very pleasant atmosphere, which enabled the conference participants to have a relaxed and inspiring stay.

James Papadopoulos (Executive Producer Celonis):
"When it became clear that we would be holding this year's user conference here in an empty hangar, it presented some challenges. There is no support that you would normally get at a venue, such as existing lighting, electrics, internet, nothing. So we had to start from scratch, but we're used to that because last year we did exactly the same thing, with a lot of help from PRG, in a venue that was an empty railway yard. I think one of the biggest challenges with this production was that so many different groups had to work so hard together and the schedule was so tight.
Since PRG is responsible for a lot of the technology that is used here, there are a lot of things that we just don't have to worry about, and we know that if PRG is behind it, they will make sure it gets done. Even if it wasn't part of their original agreed scope of work, we can rely on them to get the job done."
