Personnel changes at PRG Germany
Changing times also bring changes in personnel
We are pleased to welcome Kai Habermann as Managing Director at PRG Cinegate.
Kai joins Martin Abert in the role, and the two will form the joint management of PRG Cinegate GmbH from January 2022.
Kai Habermann brings with him 28 years of experience in different media companies. Kai already has Cinegate DNA as, between 2005 and 2012 he served as the Managing Director at Cinegate GmbH. In 2012, he felt the need for a change, which led to him becoming Managing Partner at RGB Energy Audits. From 2014 to 2021, Kai then ensured the successful development of ORENDT STUDIOS GmbH as Managing Director, where he was responsible for 360° content creation in the e-commerce sector at its Hamburg and Düsseldorf locations with over 200 employees.
Kai Habermann: "Working with the great PRG Cinegate team, combined with this exciting new challenge, makes me feel very positive about the future with PRG Cinegate. My motto for this: whoever stops getting better, has stopped being good."
Martin Abert adds: "I am extremely pleased that we were able to win Kai Habermann for us, so that together we can now use our expert knowledge to drive forward the strategic development of PRG Cinegate and expand our market position more strongly. In addition to scripted and non-scripted TV & film productions, we are particularly focusing on the fast-growing streaming market and virtual production."
PRG Cinegate has locations in almost all German states and studios in Hamburg, Berlin and Cologne. The company is a technical full-service provider for cinema, advertising and TV productions and operates an extensive rental of state-of-the-art cameras, lighting, grip as well as generators and vehicles.
