IPTC

The International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) returned to Saudi Arabia for a second time since the event was founded in 2005. The 14th edition of IPTC took place at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre, with Saudi Arabian Oil Company (aramco) being the exclusive host of the event.

Over 13,000 participants from 70 countries attended the event which included more than 200 exhibitors, 100 technical sessions and over 800 scientific papers logged.

Having worked with the organisers in 2020, it was a pleasure to be back in Riyadh to deliver the IPTC Excellence in Project Integration Award Presentation, CEO Plenary, IPTC Society Presidents Session as well as other engaging panel sessions.

Gavin Short, Senior Project Manager commented “The event had a tremendous footfall across the entire duration. In addition to the main auditorium, the sessions were also streamed live via the official IPTC app and social media channels along with an additional live feed that was sent to the concourse area to cater for the overflow.”
